About the Role:
Zscaler and the Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) team are seeking a Principal Engineer / Architect for the ZDX Co-Pilot project. You will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the ZDX platform through the integration of advanced AI and ML technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs). Your expertise will be key in transforming ZDX into a more intelligent, adaptive, and responsive platform, specifically designed to enhance the digital experience management.
In this role, you will be responsible for pioneering the integration of LLMs and knowledge graphs into the ZDX platform, elevating its capabilities in monitoring, observability, and problem resolution. This integration will empower ZDX Co-Pilot to provide more nuanced and comprehensive insights, automated issue detection, and real-time diagnostics across diverse digital environments.

It enables organizations to proactively identify and resolve performance issues, enhancing user productivity and IT efficiency. ZDX's advanced capabilities include network and application performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and AI/ML frameworks for automated problem detection and resolution. This platform is essential for businesses seeking to optimize their digital infrastructure and ensure a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Pioneering the integration and optimization of Large Language Models within the ZDX platform, leveraging your vast experience in AI, ML, and system architecture.
- Develop an extensive knowledge graph to support LLM-based applications
- Designing and implementing AI/ML solutions for sophisticated natural language processing, data analysis, and conversational intelligence
- Leading the project through all stages of development, including initial conception, rigorous testing, beta release, and final deployment, ensuring the delivery of a robust, scalable product.
- Developing a comprehensive LLM adoption playbook for Zscaler, aligning AI strategy with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration with IT, development, and support teams to ensure the practical application of AI solutions to real-world IT challenges.
- Maintaining and expanding your expertise in AI/ML, Large Language Models, and related technologies, to foster continuous innovation and improvement within the project.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, with a substantial background in AI, machine learning, and system architecture.
- 10+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, with specific expertise in natural language processing, AIOps, semantic search, knowledge graphs, ontologies, semantic models, and taxonomies.
