JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Shenango a is accepting applications for a part-time assistant coach in the sport of Women's Volleyball. Penn State Shenango is a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) and United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).

 

The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in recruitment and program development which includes fundraising and academic monitoring, practice preparation and game day coaching. Hours vary between off-season and in-season. Applicants must be well versed in the sport of volleyball and have at least 1 year of previous coaching experience. A college degree (associate’s or bachelor’s) is preferred. This is a part-time appointment.

 

This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• FBI Criminal Background Check
