Join us as a Principal Enterprise Architect where you will spearhead the specification, standardization, and implementation of cutting-edge platforms, technologies, and design methodologies across our organization. This pivotal role empowers you to define the technical vision and strategy for diverse portfolios, collaborating closely with Solution Architects and System Engineers to ensure alignment with business goals and technical excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Define and drive architectural strategies and standards across portfolios and value streams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

  • Collaborate with Portfolio Management to deliver a comprehensive, forward-looking vision of enterprise solutions and technology initiatives.

  • Research, prototype, and assess emerging technologies to identify innovative opportunities that enhance business adaptability and engineering practices.

  • Lead architectural initiatives, including infrastructure reuse, configuration patterns, and knowledge sharing to promote consistency and efficiency.

  • Facilitate the adoption of common modeling, design, and coding standards, ensuring synchronization of system security, quality, scalability, and non-functional requirements.

  • Support the development and maintenance of the architectural runway to enable agile delivery and future growth.

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing expert guidance on technology choices and aligning solutions with organizational objectives.

  • Domain Architecture Models: Diagrams and models depicting current and target states, including reusable architecture patterns, process maps (Business), application landscapes (Application), data models (Data), infrastructure topology (Technology), and security frameworks (Security).

  • Standards and Guidelines Documentation: Domain-specific principles, patterns, and best practices documentation.

  • Architecture Decision Records (ADRs): Formal records of key decisions within the domain, including rationale and impact.

  • Capability Maps: Visuals linking domain capabilities to business functions and technology solutions.

  • Gap Analysis Reports: Documents identifying differences between current and target state architectures.

  • Technology Evaluation Reports: Assessments of emerging technologies relevant to the domain.

  • Architecture Review Feedback: Comments, approvals, or required changes documented during solution reviews.

  • Technology Planning impacts: High level views of impacts and cost for annual planning exercises and transformation planning.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience; advanced certifications or developer nanodegrees are a plus.

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture or related technical leadership roles.

  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, complex technology solutions across multiple business units.

  • Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks, design patterns, and emerging technology trends.

  • Exceptional collaboration skills with experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience driving standardization and reuse initiatives that improve efficiency and quality across organizations.

  • Deep understanding of system security, scalability, performance, and other critical non-functional requirements.
