Contract Positions – Starting February 2023

 

The Production Operator supports day to day manufacturing operations in the audiophile production department.

This involves working on the assembly of product parts and finished products using a machine and/or performs routine assembly tasks in various product assembly areas

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Assemble product to agreed output and specific quality standards.
• Process steps include,
  • Assembly (manual & machine operations),
  • Testing
  • Packing.
• Maintain accurate production, quality and training records.
• Achieve daily/weekly targets through effective teamwork.
• Handles stock in a careful and safe manner, conscious of quality and eliminating damage to parts and maintaining stock accuracy.
• Adhere to all safety & housekeeping rules and procedures. Ensure that work areas and equipment are maintained in accordance with company requirements e.g health & safety, 5S.

 

Your Profile:

• Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Results focused and takes timely action
• Learning mindset - Learns quickly; enjoys challenges and approaches them openly; quickly grasps new topics / essence of things.
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail with a focus on high quality work
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English, verbally and in writing and interpret standard operating procedures.
• Must be available to work shift work
