Comprising two Underwriters in the Netherlands and three in Belgium, we work collaboratively with our regional colleagues in the Nordics, as well as with the global Liability Underwriting team. </p> <p>We manage an exciting and challenging portfolio of clients, providing tailored solutions and strategic insights to meet their unique needs. Join us to be part of a vibrant and supportive team that values collaboration and drives success across borders. </p> <p> </p> <p><b>The Impact You Will Have </b></p> <p>Based in Rotterdam and reporting to the Head of Liability Underwriting, you will contribute to developing and executing the strategy for the Liability business in the Netherlands. Working closely with Regional Practice Group Leaders, senior underwriters, and the Head of Liability, you will support both global and country strategies to help achieve Allianz Commercial targets. </p> <p> </p> <p><b>Some of your specific responsibilities could include: </b></p> <ul> <li> <p>Assisting in the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business, including participating in client and broker negotiations as needed. </p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Supporting underwriting consistency and discipline, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules, and the local regulatory framework. </p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborating with functional areas to review the performance of the end-to-end underwriting life cycle. </p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Working closely with Distribution, Claims, and other teams to support key marketing strategies, including cross-selling and portfolio creation. </p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Assisting in the development and implementation of new and/or modified products. </p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li> <p>Representing Allianz Commercial within the Allianz Group and externally to the market. </p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>What You’ll Bring to the Role </b></p> <p>We are looking for a motivated underwriter eager to develop expertise in writing profitable Liability business for corporate clients.
