Job Description

Position Summary

The R&D Technologist plays a critical role in supporting the on-site Research and Development (R&D) activities at Eurofins Clinical Enterprise. This position involves conducting experiments and performing wet bench work under the guidance of the R&D Manager. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative multiomics research and development projects, ensuring experimental procedures are executed with precision and align with the highest scientific standards. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to advancing the company's research objectives.

R&D Technologist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Conduct laboratory experiments and perform wet bench work as directed by the R&D Manager.
  • Prepare and analyze samples using various molecular biology techniques, including PCR, sequencing, and other genomic assays.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, including protocols, results, and observations.
  • Assist in the development and optimization of experimental protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the laboratory.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, research papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions, providing insights and updates on ongoing experiments.
  • Comply with all relevant regulatory and quality standards in the laboratory setting.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, molecular biology, or a related field.
  • Basic laboratory experience in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, sequencing, and nucleic acid extraction.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
