The Key Account Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth and gross margin performance through the strategic management of designated Key Accounts. These large, complex customers require proactive engagement, detailed coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to support long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
This role serves as a primary liaison between the customer and Singer’s internal teams and is responsible for the accurate quoting and ordering of heavy commercial kitchen equipment in accordance with Singer standards and Key Partner contract agreements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned Key Accounts, providing professional, responsive, and knowledgeable support.
• Achieve agreed-upon revenue, margin, service, and customer satisfaction Key Performance Indicators.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to strengthen partnerships and expand account growth.
• Identify customer challenges and deliver value-driven, consultative solutions aligned with Singer and customer objectives
• Quote, process, and manage orders for heavy commercial kitchen equipment in alignment with Singer policies, pricing structures, and Key Partner contract requirements — ensuring accuracy in specifications, pricing, freight, lead times, and contract compliance while executing within TRX ERP and AutoQuotes with precision and timeliness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, procurement, operations, project management, and leadership) to ensure seamless execution, proactive communication, and efficient issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and communicate proactively regarding account activity, initiatives, and performance.
• Participate in ongoing product, systems, and industry training.
• Represent Singer at trade shows, customer events, and company-sponsored activities.
• Perform additional duties as business needs evolve.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field, or 2+ years of relevant sales, account management, or foodservice equipment experience.
• Experience quoting and ordering commercial kitchen equipment strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of contract pricing structures and margin management.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Technologically proficient (Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems; ERP experience preferred).
• Passion for the hospitality industry.
• Valid driver’s license required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
