UAS Associate

Salary/Position Classification

• 25.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 10 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. This position will assist UAS instructors and evaluation for students related to UAS Flight Labs, and other UAS courses as needed. Possesses a high level of integrity, shelf starter, able to work without direct supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist UAS Associates with students in UAS Avit\ Flight Labs
• Assist UAS Associates with course development and evaluations 
• Provide assistance during outreach programs 
• Promote both the academic and the JDOSAS College 
• Other duties as assigned. - (Essential)

Required Competencies

• Good written and oral communication.
  
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Current aviation student.
• Have completed AVIT 126, 238 and 337, and be currently enrolled in UAS courses at the 300+ level.
• Hold Part 107 UAS Operators Certificate.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer Experience teaching UAS students.
