- All employees are required to have an IChat criminal clearance and fingerprinting completed upon hire. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Receive, unpack, and store kitchen supplies and food items appropriately.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for all.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals under the supervision of Food Service Coordinator
- Miscellaneous jobs assigned within the center as needed. Advertised Salary: $12.48- $13.24 Summary of Position: The Kitchen Support assistant will assist the Early Learning Center's Food Service Coordinator with cleaning dishes, light laundry and simple food prep. This role involves maintaining kitchen cleanliness, organizing supplies, and ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen environment. The position is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced food service setting.
