A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs a variety of tasks in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
- Conducts mechanical and electrical testing on medical devices, including but not limited to Essential Performance, Basic Safety, battery life, chemical exposure, environmental, and IEC 60601 testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of testing protocols.
- Troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems used in the assembly and testing of pumps and sensors.
- Operates test equipment, such as Temperature and Humidity Environmental Chambers, Altitude Environmental Chambers, and vibration test systems.
- Conducts tests and reports data in a prescribed format, including formats compliant with Design History Files (DHF) standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in data collection and documentation.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Must Have: Minimum

High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years of experience in design verification and reliability product testing.
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated industry (Medical Devices preferred).
- Experience in executing and recording testing in a lab setting.
- Experience working with Insulin pumps.
- Experience working with Glucose sensors.
- Experience in a cleanroom environment.
- Experience with small parts assembly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience using a microscope.
