Job Description

As a Villa Concierge Supervisor, you will be connecting our villa guests to the best their destination hast to offer – whether it’s beaches, restaurants or cultural experiences.  You will be an ambassador for exceptional service with a passion to continually exceed expectations and anticipate guest needs to ensure our guests feel valued.  The professional relationships you build with our vendors will positively impact the service our Villa Concierge team provides to our guests. 

Hourly Rate: $30.51

What you will be doing:

  • Assume the role of the Villa Manager in their absence.
  • Coordinating all aspects of the guest requests, recording and tracking of all pertinent communications, bookings and details of guest itineraries to the highest level of satisfaction at all times.
  • Maintaining communication of up to date, accurate information between guests, staff, management and our partners on a daily basis.
  • Developing and maintaining contacts and professional working relationships with counter parts in other Fairmont properties, the Maui community and hospitality service providers in our area.
  • Assist the concierge agent in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed.
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure completion of all tasks in accordance with shift requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working area.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for guests and efficiently respond to any enquiries.
  • Monitors any guest recoveries to ensure proper follow up with respective teams is completed in a timely manner.
  • Serves as a role model to exemplify appropriate behaviors.
  • Provides training and mentorship
  • Must be able to adhere to the State of Hawaii food handling safety standards.
  • Actively participate in monthly departmental sales promotions.
  • Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests.
  • Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Be knowledgeable of the island, activities, restaurants, our resort, venue menus and offerings in order to be our guests’ trusted guide.

    Qualifications

    Your experience and skills include:

    • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
    • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
    • Must be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority, both internally and externally.
    • Must possess basic computational ability.
    • Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail functions.
    • Knowledge of computerized Front Office systems required with emphasis in Micros-Fidelio based programs (Opera).
    • Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented in a fast paced, high volume environment.
    • Must have ability to work independently and to prioritize or seek clarification in prioritizing work assignments.

    Education

    • High School diploma and/or vocational training
    • A Degree in Hotel/Hospitality or Tourism is an asset.
