Position Overview

Join Our Team as Director, Platform & Data Security

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on security engineering leader to usher our Platform and Data Security initiatives. This leader will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's data security strategy, along with endpoint and email security. This position requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of security principles. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining critical security infrastructure and solutions to protect our organization’s data, devices, and email systems. As a key member of the security leadership team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a security-first culture, aligning security efforts with business goals, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

What You’ll Bring to Zelis

Required Experience:

• 12+ of experience in Information Security with a focus on data security

• Experience leading a hybrid team of 5 or more direct reports in a player/coach capacity

• Experience mentoring and growing a security-focused team, while driving the strategy and execution of our data security roadmap

• Significant experience designing and implementing data security strategy and execution

• Experience designing and implementing email and endpoint security solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to align security initiatives with business requirements

• Stay up to date with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends related to data security, endpoint protection, and email security

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience managing an Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) solution

• Understanding of network security concepts, such as next-gen firewalls and segmentation strategy and approaches

• Understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and how they impact business decisions
