Meyer is a growing, family-owned and operated company where you are more than an employee number, you’re family! This CDL Travel Driver position delivers trucks to outside locations.

Schedule for CDL class A Travel Driver:

• $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
• Schedule/hours varies based on company needs
• Flexibility is a must for this position.
• Drive trucks to outside Meyer locations and fly back to Jasper, IN.
• Average 15 hours per week will vary based on company needs.
• 100% Travel required

CDL class A Driver duties include but are not limited to:

• Transport trucks within the company to different locations/regions in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner
• Hook and unhook trailers; secure freight; install and remove tire chains as required by weather
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
• Represent the Company and the trucking industry in a professional manner
• Travel to Meyer locations nationwide delivering equipment as needed.

Requirements for CDL class A Driver:

• One-year of CDL experience driving a tractor trailer over 26,000 lbs.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License, No Restrictions.
• Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Meet all standards (medical, safety, etc.) required by the DOT and pass required drug/alcohol test.
• Acceptable background investigation results.
• Must be willing to travel.
