The GITSOC Analyst is an entry-level role within our 24/7/365 operations. You will help ensure the safety and security of company personnel and assets by utilizing critical thinking, internal and external platforms, and established procedures to identify real or potential risks and communicate actionable intelligence to stakeholders. Collaboration, timely execution, and high performance under pressure are essential.
As a GITSOC Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Continuously monitor worldwide events in real-time through internal and external tools and platforms to identify developing real or potential threats, risk, safety and security incidents
Identify, evaluate, and assess incidents for real or potential risk and impact to company personnel and assets
Synthesize data and compose accurate and timely communications, according to established procedures and templates, to notify relevant stakeholders (Enterprise Security leadership, Regional Security Directors, employees, travelers, etc.)
Support Enterprise Security leaders with communication and education efforts on group initiatives
Maintain and commit to learning and maintaining company processes for key systems on emergency notification, travel security, security message communication, and other platforms as determined by business needs
Provide effective end-user support on company travel security platforms and procedures
Contribute to tactical and/or strategic threat assessments for locations and/or events
Assist company personnel in identifying and meeting requirements, and obtaining proper permissions, for proposed travel to high-risk locations
Serve as a point of contact for the intake and escalation of safety and security incidents as reported by company personnel and assets
Perform duties as given during holiday, evening, and overnight hours, in addition to assisting with shift coverage in routine operations and extenuating circumstances
Meet annual Enterprise Security performance goals as determined by Enterprise Security leadership, including Crisis Management materials and other forms of support
Maintain travel risk rating systems with required updates
Provide written products with original content as determined by Enterprise Security leadership
Complete shift change summaries and other necessary communications on time at the end of each working shift
Draft and disseminate security messages to local personnel and/or travelers in collaboration with Enterprise Security leadership
Complete or contribute to products on an ad hoc basis as determined by Enterprise Security leadership
To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor’s degree (and/or further education) including relevant coursework in Analytics, Business, Communications, History, International Relations, Security, and/or related fields. Relevant experience in public safety and/or corporate security will be considered in addition to, or in lieu of, education.
Critical thinker with demonstrated success meeting goals and deadlines when working both independently and within a group
Clear and demonstrated understanding of business professionalism, team environments, receiving/providing feedback, and communication across roles
Highly literate in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Viva Engage
Ability to triage multiple responsibilities and respond to emergencies
Cultural competency, critical thinking, and problem solving, including working in a remote and/or hybrid environment with colleagues across time zones
