Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Design, develop, debug, and operate resilient distributed systems. Balance live-site management, feature delivery, and retirement of technical debt. Drive and manage thin slices of functionality on a regular cadence with data-driven feedback loops in an agile environment that are part of large scale, complex systems in the multi-substrates. Debug, resolve complex technical issues, and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance. Build reliable, self-healing services on unreliable hardware and in the Infrastructure eco-system components like Database, security. Solve problems, automation, thriving for better service availability and optimizations as a whole. Create, maintain, and share technical documentation used by engineers and other team members. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Shell Scripting; (3) JavaScript; (4) NodeJS; (5) ReactJS; (6) AngularJS; (7) Vue.js; (8) AJAX; (9) jQuery; (10) MySQL. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Salary: $215,197.00 - $227,700.00 per annum.
