Javascript Engineer

As a Javascript Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our backend services. Your expertise in Typescript, NodeJs or alternative runtime (e.g., Deno), Vue or alternative modern frameworks, and data structures will significantly contribute to the improvement of our digital tools and services. This position directly supports key solutions that allow us to create a physical product, which in turn aids our marketing and parametric design efforts.

Product Department

Product is our most diverse team in terms of expertise. It is home to 50 specialists, ranging from experienced UX and experienced designers and software developers to wood technologists and industrial designers.

This department is responsible for two strategic areas: Product Strategy and Product Portfolio Development, as well as roadmap and company-wide support, with the aim of elevating the Experience.
With four specialized technology divisions — Product & Assemble, Visualize & Interact, Design & Configure, Structure & Generate — this department delivers a complete product: the complete digital technology (i.e. configurator) and the physical product is produced in the factories.

Tasks:

• Prototype, Develop, and maintain Tylko configurators for clients, focusing on the logical and communicative layers.

• Implement and maintain a service responsible for our unique Visualisation Automation system, connecting different rendering solutions with assets done by our artists and with our made-to-measure furniture.

• Develop and support products for Furniture Designers.

• Be part of a team that deploys new products and solutions.

• Prototype new applications in collaboration with UX and industrial designers to create innovative features.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum four years of experience working with Typescript, NodeJs, Vue, or alternative modern frameworks

• Good knowledge of data structures

• Experience in designing and implementing communication between different services

• Clean code enthusiast

• Good command of English and Polish

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Django, ThreeJS, Django REST Framework, Pytest, Docker, PostgreSQL
