Overview
The Real Estate Specialist will assist the team with various administrative tasks with a focus on researching and analyzing data related to both Franchise and Corporate development.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Hampton, NH office.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming leads on potential retail properties submitted by landlord-developers, brokers, and the public.
- Process incoming site submission reviews being submitted through the PF Real Estate portal in preparation for Director/Manager review.
- Responsible for heavy data entry, inputting site submission activities into PF’s internal database and maintaining Salesforce CRM by entering in new leasing data.
- Research available retail properties suitable for a Planet Fitness club through online commercial listing services such as Crexi and LoopNet.
- Obtain information on potential properties such as traffic counts, real estate tax data, aerial photos, surrounding health club competition, demographics, zoning information, etc.
- Prepare and present site packages at weekly PF Real Estate Committee meetings.
- Assist with coordination of activities for PF's involvement with ICSC real estate conventions. Attendance at these conventions may also be required.
- Support PF franchisees and real estate brokers on real estate matters.
- Perform market tours and/or site visits with their Director of Real Estate, as needed.
- Coordinate franchisee calls for Directors and Real Estate Managers.
- Complete special projects and analyses, as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business, or related field preferred
- 2-4 years’ administrative experience
- Salesforce CRM experience preferred
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to do minor graphic arts (Photoshop) work to produce custom maps, preferred
- Strong relationship building and public speaking skills
- Strong attention to detail, efficient, and organized with an ability to establish priorities and objectives
- Excellent presentation and communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Able to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships with diverse individuals, internally and externally
- Dedicated learner with a natural curiosity for consistent growth
- Exhibits comfort, ease, and flexibility working in an extremely fast-paced ever-changing, deadline-driven environment
- Cooperative team player with an upbeat, positive, “can-do” attitude!
