Your Role as a Pediatric Physical Therapist:
- Conduct evaluations to assess children’s strength, mobility, and coordination.
- Create individualized treatment plans to help kids improve their movement, strength, and independence.
- Address challenges related to balance, walking, running, posture, and motor development.
- Provide hands-on interventions to improve gross motor skills and reduce the risk of injury.
- Help children meet important developmental milestones in mobility and physical function.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive therapy plan.
- Educate families and caregivers on how to support therapy at home and in school settings.
- Participate in school-based or B-3 team meetings to develop and review therapy goals and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of treatment progress.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
- License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Physical Therapist.
