Your Role as a Pediatric Physical Therapist:

• Conduct evaluations to assess children’s strength, mobility, and coordination.
• Create individualized treatment plans to help kids improve their movement, strength, and independence.
• Address challenges related to balance, walking, running, posture, and motor development.
• Provide hands-on interventions to improve gross motor skills and reduce the risk of injury.
• Help children meet important developmental milestones in mobility and physical function.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive therapy plan.
• Educate families and caregivers on how to support therapy at home and in school settings.
• Participate in school-based or B-3 team meetings to develop and review therapy goals and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of treatment progress.
