Sports Merchant and Sales Trainee

Throughout this journey, we've successfully concluded three substantial funding rounds, selling hundreds of thousands of products. </span><span>Thanks to our team's efforts, we were recognized as the Top Employer in the DACH region (2023 and 2024) by </span><a href="https://www.kununu.com/at/refurbed"><span><span>Kununu</span></span></a><span> and secured the title of an </span><a href="https://www.acm.org/membership/preferred-employers-list"><span><span>ACM Preferred Employer</span></span></a><span> (2023).</span><span> </span></p><p>For our Supply department we are looking for a Sports Sales &amp; Business Trainee who will join our sports team and support us in driving the growth of our newest refurbished category: refurbed sports. <em>This role would be a part-time opportunity (15h/week)</em>, ideal for students or young professionals looking forward to gain first-hand experience in business, ecommerce, and the circular economy.<br/><br/><strong><span>WHO YOU ARE</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>You have an educational background in Business or in a similar field, or previous experience in a sales/client-facing role</li> <li>You are eager to learn and always ready to take on new challenges and adapt</li> <li>You are quick to pick up new skills, thrive when working independently and are a keen problem-solver</li> <li>You are highly driven, take full ownership of your tasks, and deliver excellent results</li> <li>You are detail-oriented and organized</li> <li>You are a great communicator in both German and English</li> </ul> <p><span><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong> </span></p> <p>You’ll work with and support your team to grow refurbed sports:</p> <ul> <li>You will scout, contact, and onboard new sports suppliers</li> <li>You will conduct surveys and interviews, analyse results, share learnings and suggest next steps</li> <li>You will support the team with various practical tasks, including listing products, creating and updating documentation, data collection, and etc.</li> </ul> <p>Beyond this, you will carry out and support in a diverse range of other activities dependent on the needs of the category; from ad hoc day-to-day tasks to longer term strategic projects - all contributing to the overall growth of the category.</p> <p><br/><br/><br/></p><p><strong>WHY YOU WILL ENJOY WORKING WITH US </strong></p> <p><strong>Our Culture and Values:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Decisions should be made based on facts and not by hierarchy levels?
