What You Will Do:
Support Hot Section Module Center (HSMC) North – West Palm Beach as a Quality Engineer (P3) that will support business needs including but not limited to:
Responsibilities Include:
Provide technical support to the inspection and manufacturing communities
Evaluate manufacturing processes and hardware to determine compliance to applicable requirements
Support day-to-day manufacturing activities such as review and approval of work instructions, process authorization requests (PAR), and first article inspections (FAI).
Perform data analysis of quality nonconformances
Support shop non-compliance investigations to determine root cause, identifying robust corrective actions and tracking effectiveness. Additionally, dispositioning Quality Notification’s as a Quality Review Coordinator.
Support preparation efforts for external quality audits such as the AS9100 certification
Support product escape investigations and population bounding efforts
Construct and perform quality presentations to a technical community.
Support the Materials Control Lab (MCL) by preparing and evaluating lab samples.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Auditing, QMS or Quality experience in Aviation, Aerospace, Space, Automotive or other regulated industry; OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
Ability to understand technical data, such as manufacturing, or part drawings.
Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, & ISO.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and experience with continuous improvement programs. CORE, Value Stream Mapping, Workplace Organization, DIVE, RCCA, Mistake Proofing, etc.
Designing and implementing manufacturing and inspection processes
Materials Control Lab (MCL) experience assessing material properties
Certified ASQ / Quality Auditor / Certified Quality Engineer
Experience working with Microsoft Office, SAP and MRP material ordering systems.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior level management.
