Job Description
As a Data Entry Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our client’s operations, playing a crucial role in managing customer orders for premium nutritional and sporting supplements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge inventory management systems and contribute to the growth of a dynamic business in the health and fitness sector. You’ll be responsible for processing orders accurately, verifying pricing across different customer tiers, and ensuring timely completion of tasks to meet daily shipping deadlines. Responsibilities
- Process customer orders with precision using Unleashed inventory management software, ensuring all details are accurately entered and verified
- Navigate and apply complex pricing structures across various customer tiers, maintaining consistency and accuracy in all transactions
- Proactively identify and report any discrepancies in order details, demonstrating keen problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Manage time effectively to meet daily processing deadlines, ensuring orders are ready for same-day shipping from the warehouse
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline order fulfillment processes and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Adapt quickly to peak order periods, particularly at the beginning of each week, maintaining high accuracy under pressure
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data entry processes, suggesting and implementing efficiency enhancements where possible
Requirements
- 1-3 years of proven experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably in e-commerce or inventory management
- Familiarity with inventory management software, particularly Unleashed, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of maintaining high accuracy in data-intensive roles
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and addressing order discrepancies independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, for supplementary data management tasks
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining consistent communication with the team
- Flexibility to work between 9 AM to 1 PM or 10 AM to 2 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time
- Passion for health, fitness, and nutritional supplements is a plus
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with Xero software is beneficial but not required
