Senior Ionic/Cordova Developer

Halvik is looking for a motivated Ionic/Cordova Developer to assist us to provide support in the design, development and enhancements of multiple applications that support PHMSA’s Field Operations Division. The team which supports these systems is comprised of a cross-section of development, testing, architecture, and operations personnel.  Candidates must exhibit experience with best practices and agile software development methodologies to design and develop IT systems supported by shared services and capabilities. 

Responsibilities

• Good exposure to designing and developing Mobile apps using Ionic Framework and Cordova.
• Knowledge of Angular, Javascript, JQuery, CSS
• Good understanding of RESTful web services, native module
• Familiar with Android Studio and Xcode and debugging tools
• Develop client-side components of these features on Ionic Framework and Cordova.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Growth teams
• Improve our technical architecture, using modern technologies and design patterns
• Work closely with Project Managers and other Team members in an Agile Environment to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Develop and support new & existing features in the application of the assigned work.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and update the progress of assigned tasks in agile development tools.

Required Skills

• 2 to 5 years of experience
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards Understanding of design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with performance and memory tuning
• Knowledge of Testing frameworks
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
