You will also ensure that your work can be transformed into a finished product in a timely manner and at an appropriate price point. This means working not only with our technical design and production teams, but also building collaborative relationships with outside vendors and other external stakeholders. The challenges are exciting and the possibilities endless – as you contribute your skills in a vibrant, customer- and people-centric culture that celebrates you as a valuable member of the team.
Specific Responsibilities Would Include
The Associate Designer provides hands-on execution support across the full seasonal product cycle, with a particular focus on the detailed, high-volume tracking and data work that keeps a multi-channel licensed business running cleanly. This is not a purely administrative role: it requires real design judgment on color, print, and construction detail, just with narrower ownership than the Designer seat. Expect high transaction volume: this seat touches every style, every channel, and every season's full color and print buildout, and needs someone who is comfortable in detailed, repetitive systems work without losing accuracy.
What you will own:
- Build and maintain the seasonal cross-functional style tracker (the shared source of truth used by design, sales, planning, PD, and production for sample quantities, approvals, and status).
- Support tech pack construction in PLM: season setup, colorway and BOM entry, and render/art page loading under the Designer's direction.
- Manage the seasonal color chart and physical color ordering process with outside color labs, including tracking receipt and flagging delays.
- Support novelty elastic development: PLM material entry, artwork uploads, and tracking strike-off rounds with suppliers.
- Assist with packaging PLM entry and BOM updates as packaging changes roll through the season.
- Participate in the post-sell-in BOM review working sessions, supporting live correction of BOM data across categories.
- Support GTM handoff logistics: confirming linesheet access, tracking outstanding sample and proto status, and helping prepare materials for sell-in meetings.
- Take on defined pieces of channel variant execution (outlet, off-price, club, or special make-up) as assigned by the Designer or Design Director.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- 3-5 years of experience in apparel design, product development, or a related production/merchandising role.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with detailed, high-volume data tracking without losing accuracy under deadline pressure.
- Working familiarity with a PLM system is a strong plus; willingness and ability to learn one quickly is required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; InDesign a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign; experience with 3D visualization tools (e.g. Rhino) is a strong plus, not required. Browzwear, Clo
- High attention to detail and strong personal organization — this role is judged heavily on accuracy and follow-through, not just speed.
- Comfort asking questions and escalating early rather than guessing on ambiguous items, especially early in ramp-up.
