ROLE SUMMARY: This is an entry-level position that assists experienced tradespeople in performing a variety of construction, assembly, installation, and maintenance tasks. The trainee supports daily job site operations by providing materials, tools, and labor assistance while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:  

Assist experienced workers with layout, assembly, installation, or fabrication tasks as directed.

Load, transport, and supply materials, tools, and equipment to the job site or work area.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.

Help lift, position, dig, and secure materials or equipment safely during installation or construction.

Perform other general labor or support duties as assigned by the Foreman or Journeyman.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

• Ability to follow specific directions and perform a variety of duties that may frequently change.
• Basic math, electrical and mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn through on-the-job and classroom training.

Tool List will be provided.

This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
