JOB SUMMARY
The Distribution Supervisor (Warehouse & Transfill) will oversee the department's daily operations and ensure quality products that meet or exceed established standards and customer expectations, productivity in maximizing output, efficiency by using the least possible resource consumption/minimizing wastes, and standards are met. This position is responsible for managing and leading a team, ensuring quality control, enforcing company policies, improving operational performance and compliance with safety, regulatory, quality standards, and resolving customer and operational issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to service or production.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $ 66,220.00 - $122,980.00. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse & Transfill Operations and Workflow Management:
• Lead Lean Daily Management for Warehouse and Transfill, conduct daily huddles with the entire team to report on current goals and actuals, answer questions, and flow pertinent information to and from all teammates.
• Warehouse:
• Oversee and set daily teammate expectations and goals to meet branch/customer demand, ensuring that all picking, packing, staging, loading of trucks, and paperwork are completed timely to adhere to branch delivery schedule and within transportation SLA’s. Communicate timely any delays or nonconformance to the set schedule.
• Set up and schedule any non-dedicated transportation as needed to satisfy customer and business demands.
• Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted and ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Transfill:
• Set goals to meet or exceed the demand, monitor the productivity and output of Transfill Techs hourly, and develop plans to close gaps. Monitors the branch oxygen Transfill orders.
• Supervise daily oxygen Transfill operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, accurately filled. Ensure tests and inspects cylinders. Verifies filling requirements.
• Maintains files of work performed including lot and batch number information, cylinder maintenance and inspection logs and materials required by the F.D.A.
• Oversee the shipping, receiving and distribution of USP Medical Oxygen Cylinders.
• Oversee and or Conducts Internal Regulatory Compliance Auditing.
Team Management
• Supervise and support the operational team(s), ensuring the health and safety of all.
• Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance appraisal, and disciplining subordinate staff.
• Responsible for scheduling a daily work plan to meet productivity and quality goals. Coordinate shifts and schedules, account for attendance, to ensure sufficient staffing for operational needs.
• Budget Management: Responsible for own cost center budgets. Track spending, budget forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Team Leadership & Training:
• Lead, supervise, and support the team leads, warehouse clerk, Transfill techs technicians, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and quality standards are met.
