Job Description
About the Role:
The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, and ordering, issuing, and receiving plant supplies and materials (including storeroom items, dunnage and corrugate materials).
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory levels in storeroom.
- Unload incoming material, unpack items, and verify packing slip for accuracy against purchase order.
- Notify Controller and vendor contact of any short shipments, description variances, or any damage to incoming shipments.
- Place items on shelf and ensure tags on shelf are accurate and updated. Ensure items fit shelves and are easy to identify.
- Prepare items for shipment ensuring accuracy and adequate packaging while being cost conscious on shipping methods.
- Executes MRP and generates material releases to suppliers.
- Order and review inventory counts for dunnage materials.
- Investigate any discrepancy between OI & Provider.
- Check that the provider is recording on the system all the physical movement.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must be able to operate storeroom hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Outlook)
- Forklift certification preferred
- SAP experience preferred
Skills:
- Have experience processing receipts and consumption using Enterprise Resource Planning software.
- Be highly detail-oriented and organized (data, inventory counts, etc.).
- Have strong communication skills to work with all departments in the plant.

US Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is $29.00 + 10% of targeted annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
