Guidehouse is recruiting Oracle APEX developers to be a part of our Defense & Security Department of Justice support practice. Every organization today faces complexity across multiple levels on a frequent basis. Join our team supporting the Department of Justice and guide our customers through today’s complex challenges.
The Oracle APEX developer will be responsible for the ongoing development and testing of the administration services platform that supports budget and procurement activities related to Annual, CR, or special Budget loads. The APEX developer will architect, design, and build prototype applications as proofs of concept or to demonstrate enhanced functionality. In this role, the principal APEX developer will collaborate with subject matter experts from the Budget Section to improve the functionality of the platform, formulate plans, establish system policies, and procedure to better meet the financial management needs of the Director, Enterprise stakeholders, and Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
What you Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal security clearance
THREE (3) or more years of APEX Oracle development experience
Oracle Application Express (APEX) version 5.1 or higher development experience
Working knowledge of Oracle Data Definition Language (DDL)
Working knowledge of Procedural Language extension to Structured Query Language (PL/SQL)
Understating of Agile development methodology
What Would be Nice To Have:
Experience with designing, debugging, coding and maintaining Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML, JavaScript, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) code
Proficiency and experience in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and strong interpersonal skills
