Key responsibilities

  • Adheres to Safety, Health & Environment standards, and procedures.
  • Integration of MES systems including Siemens WinCC preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database environments
  • Leveraging of real time data for custom analytics and dashboarding
  • Capacity to lead custom development of operational management website development and refinements
  • Ensures that manufacturing best practices and lessons learned are implemented into new processes.
  • Collects and documents best practices and lessons learned from production sites (K-PAC library).
  • Travels frequently to PHINIA sites abroad and to suppliers. Easily adapts to new working environments abroad: culture, language...
  • Provides Training to local ME teams in his area of technical expertise.

What we’re looking for

Education/Experience – Basic Qualifications:

  • Electronic/Software/Controls Engineering degree        
  • 5+ years of experience as Controls Engineer
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database environments
  • Experience with highly automated equipment and the control systems (Siemens PLC knowledge preferred).
  • Sound knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, robots, and vision systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tool Set
  • Experience with MES systems, data collection and part tracking concepts preferred.
