Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Verify the compatibility of Western Digital storage drives in enterprise customer systems
  • Work closely with SIT lab engineers on product test projects and automating lab test systems and data collection.
  • Work directly with customer storage solutions used in enterprise and hyperscale data centers.  Setup and deploy new test environments.  May include script development and debug.
  • Improve or develop data management of current lab data sets for analysis and reporting. This may include mobile application development.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Third or fourth year STEM students seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following disciplines. Engineering (Electrical, Computer), Data Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Experience with application-level scripting (Python)
  • A hands-on approach to validating complex computer systems – get ready to work directly with cutting-edge technology!
  • Application-level programming exposure (Java, C++, C#, etc.)
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively
