About the Role:

13S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Director, Cloud FinOps to be a key player in the Infrastructure Engineering team to manage cloud expenditure and manage license/subscriptions/warranty extensions for hardware and software components. This role requires a seasoned FinOps personnel experienced with Cloud infrastructure and who works effectively, both independently as well as collaboratively, in a team environment.
Responsabilities:
- Manage Vendor Contract renewals.
- Manage Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders and MSAs.
- Manage and track Invoice approvals.
- Estimate Budget
- Manage Vendor spend, software and licenses.
- Maintain Software licenses inventory.
- Track Hardware Warranty renewals
- Perform cloud consumption analysis.
- Manage Cloud CFAR planning.
- Perform Application TCO analysis.
- Track Vendor Service Delivery
- Conduct Product Profitability analysis
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance financial performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Ariba
- Experience in managing and optimizing Cloud cost
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud and cost optimization techniques.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong expertise in planning, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, such as a startup or tech company.
- Experience with data visualization tools and financial dashboards.
- Experience with Cloudability or similar reporting tools.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
