In 2021, Samsung announced a new facility in Taylor, Texas, where it plans to invest a minimum $17 billion in the build-out. The site spans 1,200+ acres and the first phase of development will have 4.7 million square feet of floor space consisting of a cluster of semiconductor manufacturing buildings such as a fab, office, parking garage, central utility building, and special utility supply facilities. The Taylor facility will boost the production of semiconductor solutions that will power next-generation technologies in areas like 5G, artificial intelligence (AI) and high performance computing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Overview:

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking to hire an accounts payable representative responsible for processing invoices, expense reports, scanning, and other administrative duties as needed.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Process expense reports, verifying general ledger account number and supporting documentation
  • Process invoices including matching to POs and shipping paperwork as needed.
  • Maintaining company credit cards including requesting new cards, closing accounts and following up on late expense submissions and assisting end users with questions or problems
  • Review and approve incoming invoice submission
  • Contact vendors for invoice issues/reconcile vendor statements
  •  Special projects as assigned such as audit (analysis, research, and
    confirmations)
  •  Scanning as needed – After data entry, scanning, linking, and archiving


Shift: 1st M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT

Skills and Qualifications:

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in accounts payable required
  • Experience with expense reports required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:

  • Data entry experience (Excel, SAP, etc.)
  • Experience, experience handling employee expense reports and corporate credit cards
  • General Accounts Payable experience
  • Ability to function in a large corporate setting, exhibit teamwork and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
