Banning Lewis Ranch Academy is a tuition-free public charter school authorized by District 49, proudly serving the Banning Lewis Ranch community and surrounding neighborhoods in Colorado Springs since 2006. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering intellectual curiosity and a thirst for discovery in students, guiding them from teacher-led instruction to independent mastery. This role requires collaboration with Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to drive personalized learning strategies that meet the unique needs of each student. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Super Kids or Core Knowledge Language Arts curriculum.
• Utilize Eureka Squared Math to deliver comprehensive math instruction.
• Employ the Capturing Kids' Hearts framework to build meaningful relationships with students and create a positive classroom culture.
• Work collaboratively with team mates to assess and monitor student progress, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student growth and uphold the school's mission.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Colorado Teaching License.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children.
• Familiarity with Capturing Kids' Hearts, Eureka Squared Math, and Core Knowledge Language Arts is preferred.
• A desire to work in a community-oriented environment that values strong partnerships between home and school.

The annual starting salary for this position is $50,000.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
