You Have:

• 3+ years of experience in space operations, space situational awareness, and space launch systems

• 3+ years of experience supporting space-related, including space, ground, software, or hardware system, aerospace systems or Major Defense Acquisition Programs

• Experience with the aerospace hardware or software systems engineering life cycle, including design, development, verification and validation, integration, test, and implementation management  

• Knowledge of mission assurance processes and procedures

• Knowledge of satellite communications

• Knowledge of offensive and defensive space control

• Knowledge of precision navigation and timing and space operational environment

• Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with space operations, space situational awareness, and space launch systems

• Experience performing systems engineering on space systems

• Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02

• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities, procedures, and information technology tools 

• Ability to interact well with cross-functional teams and working environments 

• Ability to interface with internal and external clients 

• Ability to perform analysis and assessment

• TS/SCI clearance

• Master’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent technical field

• INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certifications, such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP

Clearance:    

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
