Food Services Officer (520518)

The role:

In accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines, assist with food preparation, production, plating service, ware-washing, and cleaning duties in the provision of catering services to patients, visitors, and staff of the hospital.

These positions are located at the Cambridge Production Centre. 

• Work as a member of a dynamic team at the production centre working in ware wash, tray line, production and stores.
• As part of the production team you will;
  • Assist with the safe production of food items for the patients at the RHH and various THS sites.
  • Perform receipt and storage duties associated with food supplies in line with food safety guidelines.
  • Perform general food preparation and cleaning related duties.

Details of Appointment

Multiple fixed term, casual position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately twelve (12) months.

• Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies.

Salary: $55,466 - $57,712 (pro-rata) per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Plus 25% Casual Loading - Equivalent of $34.95 to $36.36 per hour.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
