JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for leading the launch activities of the plant by developing an internal timeline to execute any new product innovation & deliver OTIF. As the team lead, manage a specific portfolio of projects as well as lead a team of planners. Collaborate with all Operations cross-functional teams to ensure that all execution activities of new products are completed on time and in full per the launch timeline.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- You will lead, coach and develop a high performing team of 1 planner in supporting new product launches/innovation within the factory
- You will lead the new product innovation process for a designated brand from formula approval to execution, ensuring timing, quantity and KPI targets are achieved
- You will develop internal project timeline to be shared and aligned on with internal SAI partners for each project. Internal SAI partners include Short/Long Term planning, Bulk Planning, Material Supply Planning, Production, Manufacturing, Quality and Warehouse.
- You will be responsible for validating the execution milestones on the overall project timeline from Project Management to ensure accuracy and that it is achievable.
- You will lead plant project review meetings and coordinate seamless integration between all Operational and AIC processes and functions involved in developing and launching new products.
- You will partner with Material Supply Planning team to ensure timely PO placement, completion and delivery of all primary, secondary, and tertiary components needed to support launch timelines.
- You will partner with Short/Long Term Planning teams to ensure successful end-to-end FG planning while transitioning projects from launch to replenishment.
- You will partner with Quality team to quickly resolve quality issues that may arise to ensure original project timeline can be maintained.
- You will partner with Planning, Production and Manufacturing for successful execution of a manufacturing & production schedule to support the internal project timeline.
- You will keep track of all liabilities related to projects.
- You will maintain LOI tracker for any projects (if applicable) until reconciliation is completed.
WHO YOU ARE:
- You have a 4-year academic degree in relevant field or related job experience
- You have a minimum 4-5 years of experience in project management or supply chain
- You are a competent user of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- You have 3 years of experience working within an ERP/MRP environment
- SAP and IBP experience a plus
- You are a strong communicator with organizational & problem-solving skills, that pays attention to detail and leads effectively
