Internship: Data Engineer F/M

What you'll do
You will work as a data engineer intern on a complete and strategic AI solution that involves:

• Data management

• Machine learning

• Web User Interface

You will be part of an international team with a startup spirit, and we are creative, team spirit and passionate about AI for years.
As a member of this team, you will be able to:

• work with data scientists and software engineers based in several countries on AI solutions,

• communicate with project managers, other technical teams and business managers,

• analyze the current solution, eliminate weaknesses, and propose new approaches

• work on the consumption and aggregation of business data with cost and response time constraints

• maintain and expose new features on a web interface

• maintain and implement new backend services to expose data 

 

Duration: 6 months
Start date: asap
In accordance with the French legislation, for any duration over 2 months, this internship is paid in line with the SAP gratification grid.

 

What you bring

• Master 1 or 2 in Data Engineering, IT or Software Development

• You are familiar with and will bring your skills in the following areas:

  • Python (must)

  • Java and SQL languages (preferred)

  • Javascript and web interface development,

  • strong oral and written English skills (international team)

• You will have the opportunity to learn or complete your knowledge by applying it in the following areas:

  • Big Data analysis and processing (Databricks),

  • CI/CD with Jenkins or similar,

  • Data science or visualization modules (e.g. Pandas, numpy, scikitlearn, keras, etc...),

  • Jupyter environment,

  • Version control software (e.g. GitHub, Git, etc...),

  • Agile methodologies and start-up mindset
