How Will You Make an Impact?
As a Site Materials Manager at our Monument, CO facility, you will lead the materials team to drive continuous improvement in planning and inventory control. You’ll champion Jabil’s standard strategies while implementing customized solutions to meet customer needs. Your leadership will ensure accurate forecasting, strong customer service, and efficient supply chain operations that support both revenue goals and operational excellence.

This role is based on-site at our Monument, CO facility.
What Will You Do?
- Champion the execution of Jabil’s planning and inventory strategies and systems, customizing solutions as needed for the site.
- Lead quarterly revenue forecasts and explain significant changes to leadership.
- Drive systematic processes to receive, evaluate, and fulfill customer demand.
- Ensure an achievable Master Production Schedule (MPS) that supports customer requirements and revenue projections, considering materials, equipment, and staffing.
- Maintain strong customer service orientation through proactive communication and monthly S&OP meetings.
- Align MPS with customer contracts and liability agreements to maintain compliance with Jabil’s “Rules of the Road.”
- Develop product launch plans for new business and transition plans for product transfers between sites.
- Evaluate buffer inventory needs during transfers and ensure continuity of supply.
- Oversee disposition and transfer of residual inventory to receiving sites.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports for internal and customer use.
- Assist Business Unit Management in evaluating and recovering costs of excess or obsolete inventory.
- Recommend process and supply chain initiatives to reduce inventory costs (e.g., hubbing, JIT, lot size optimization, alternate transportation).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Management & Supervisory Responsibilities
This role leads the site materials team, including Planning and Inventory Control, and collaborates closely with Operations and Business Unit leadership.
How Will You Get Here?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Logistics Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Proven track record in continuous improvement and process standardization in supply chain or manufacturing operations.
- Preferred: Experience in regulated industries, particularly medical device manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of materials management, negotiation, cost reduction, and planning.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies to meet business goals.
- Financial and analytical proficiency, including business analytics for footprint optimization.
- Familiarity with international taxes and customs regimes.
- Proven success in change management and cost reduction programs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email systems.
