Description
The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition is seeking full-time Clinical Associates at 100% effort for renewable terms of up to 3 years at a time to join the thriving Center for Liver Diseases. The appointees will primarily assume clinical responsibilities at off-site locations in the Chicagoland area, focused on the western/southwest suburbs, with specific locations to be determined. Additionally, there will be opportunities for inpatient consultation and transplant clinic at our main campus located in Hyde Park. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
