Compensation Range
Final compensation offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, internal equity, and alignment with organizational budget.
$59,440.00 - $74,300.00

Position Duties
- Create and produce video highlight and feature packages to promote Loyola athletics.
- Produce timely highlights following games.
- Develop concepts for, direct, produce, and edit video features relating to the athletic, academic and community service accomplishments of teams, student-athletes, and coaches.
- Work in cooperation with Athletic Communications, Athletics Marketing team members and athletics coaches to develop concepts and produce content.
- Maintain a deep understanding of digital media trends and platform-specific strategy, and analytics. Coordinate monitoring and response plans as needed, especially around high-visibility moments or events.
- Communicate effectively across a wide range of audiences—including student-athletes, staff, fans, and external partners—bringing both creativity and professionalism to every interaction.
- Create content for video boards (at Ridley Athletic Complex and in Reitz Arena) to include hype videos, video/motion headshots of student-athletes, and video feature content.
- Collaborate with Loyola Athletic Marketing staff, as well as Van Wagner Sports Enterprises, to fulfill sponsored items as it relates to video content.
- Work with Event Services and Athletics Marketing team for content delivery of created elements on gamedays.
- Distribute video to external media constituencies, Patriot League, opponents, and other entities when requested.
- Maintain an organized system of cataloging video clips, and an archive of past video clips to preserve for future use.
- Create system for using cameras and other video equipment with other athletic communications staff members.
- Serve as primary user and caretaker of athletic communications video equipment.
- Recommend pieces that should be replaced or upgraded in cooperation with athletic department staff members.
- Fulfill role as primary content creator for end-of-year athletics banquet that includes highlight videos and other elements to provide atmosphere for the event.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.
- Work weekend and evening hours to cover sporting events and related activities.
- Occasional domestic travel (10% of time) with teams throughout the competitive season, including conference and postseason play.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a closely related field.
- One (1) year of experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or other similar software related to video production and editing.
- One (1) year of collegiate sports experience.
- One (1) year of experience with videography, including lighting, on-location shooting, post-production, and shooting/editing of live sporting events.
