We will continue to build upon our successes and expand into new markets and industries, producing innovative and competitive products and technologies that advance the goal of a zero-carbon emission future.   AESC is headquartered in Japan and has battery manufacturing locations in Japan, UK, China, and the U.S. We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Project Controls, Planning and Scheduling role to support our US based GID team.

 

 

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team to support Planning and Scheduling. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities for proposal and project schedules. Your expertise will contribute to the successful integration of individual discipline schedules into comprehensive project plans. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in standardizing project progress reporting and conrdinating crossfucntional information sharing.

 

Skills And Qualifications

  • Demonstrated innovation and attention to detail, particularly in managing highly visible or controversial projects.
  • Interface closely with Program Controls Manager / Director for production facilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficient analytical skills for interpreting data, and comprehensive understanding of technical and legal materials.
  • Capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven project management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in conducting both in-person and virtual participation activities and meetings.
  • Previous experience as a P6 planner on a large construction project is a requirement.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations for planning and scheduling needs, including staffing and project control requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to review design scope criteria and quantities, and contribute to estimating bases development.
  • Integrate work scope from various entities into comprehensive project plans.
  • Establish project milestones and ensure alignment with project work activities.
  • Coordinate and establish appropriate levels of quantification for each discipline or specialty.
  • Review and evaluate schedule durations for all disciplines, supporting project milestones.
  • Organize and supervise schedule resource loading and leveling, ensuring manpower requirements are aligned with project needs.
  • Work collaboratively with departments to understand project schedule requirements and constraints.
  • Monitor critical path and schedule performance of the project, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Analyze project schedules and identify critical areas, recommending improvement strategies to the project team.
  • Lead the development and review of schedule recovery plans, evaluating additional resources and costs required.
