Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is a highly technical role that applies software engineering skills to operations and is responsible for keeping our systems reliable and our key performance metrics for business continuity in good health. SRE's responsibilities include:
Be part of the day-to-day Operations Incident Response and solving critical incidents. Be on-call for highly prioritized incident resolution
Lead blameless Post-Mortem activities after each incident occurrence within area of scope
Work with highly technical team of application manager, solution engineers, service operations managers and customers to resolve tough issues
Lead or participate to projects and initiatives to further improve operational metrics and reliability of solutions being supported
Be Analytical and use data to form action plans for improvements of operational execution
Operate with understanding of operations processes and guidelines
Job Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in Software Engineering or any relevant technical industry
Solid understanding in Scripting Languages (Python) and Coding Tools
Familiarity in Networking, VM, Microsoft Servers and Cloud Computing
Experience in leading or completing technical projects
Certifications in SRE, ITIL or and proven experience in operations is a plus
