What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing requirements, and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting access restrictions, traffic flow, and security-related response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, gates, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting conditions that could impact operations or access control.
• Communicate with site personnel regarding deliveries, contractor access, and restricted areas to help support orderly movement throughout the location and help to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
