What you'll do...
As a part of the Walmart’s Inventory Health Team, you will develop and deliver solutions that improve availability and the shopping experience for our customers. The Inventory Health team’s purpose is to deliver best-in-class inventory outcomes for our customers, stores and fulfillment networks that improve our customer experience, saving them time and money to help them live better. Our Analytics Senior Managers lead the teams that are improving Walmart US inventory availability and continually improving the systems that facilitate delivery of healthy inventory across our stores, fulfillment centers, and supply chain network.
What You'll Do...
- Team Leadership: You will lead a team of Manager level associates; guiding the team from a strategic standpoint and developing your associates.
- Outcome Ownership: Will be responsible for inventory productivity/outcomes through specified ordering channels.
- Business Partnerships: You'll work with leadership to understand goals and key business challenges, develop hypotheses, and create tactical research plans. You’ll provide actionable recommendations and support the implementation of business solutions.
- Project Scope: You'll own work streams and individual projects end-to-end, managing risks associated with implementation.
- Model Development: You'll develop data models for projects to drive business results and collaborate with project teams to implement modeling solutions.
- Proof of Concept and Prototype: You'll manage the development and implementation of prototypes and production-ready algorithms, overseeing the testing and validation process.
- Data Collection and Analysis: You'll address complex business problems using advanced analytics, make strategic recommendations, and manage data analysis strategy.
- Collaboration: You'll collaborate with functional leadership and cross-functional teams to develop consultative solutions, interface with external business partners and vendors, and oversee job-related activities and assignments.

- Have extensive experience in advanced analytics, preferably in a retail or merchandising environment.
- Possess strong analytical skills and are proficient in model development, data collection, and analysis.
- Have excellent communication skills and can effectively collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Are skilled in project management, risk management, and people development.
- Have experience managing inventory throughout a multi-tier supply chain network
- Have expertise in the eCommerce retail space
