THE RUNDOWN:

This position involves patient interactions, taking vital signs, exam room setup, injections, lab work, and patient flow. In this role, you will be responsible for communication with patients and staff.

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Interviews patients, taking vital signs, updates medical info in EMR.
  • Prepares exam rooms, cleans instruments, sterilizes, and inventories supplies.
  • Ensures smooth patient flow by monitoring schedules while assisting providers with patient care and specialty procedures.
  • Safely transports specimens, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide quality, safe, and compassionate care to all patients.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Healthcare experience, necessary.
  • Completion of CMA/CNA, preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hazardous material inventory and MSDS available. Wears personal protective equipment as needed. May be exposed to patients/public with communicable diseases.
