Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire

Pay: $25 - $30 per hour

Job Overview
We are hiring maintenance technicians for direct hire positions in Nashville, TN. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, ensuring all equipment functions efficiently and safely. Candidates should have experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and working with a variety of production machines and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions using diagrams, sketches, and testing instruments
• Dismantle equipment to remove defective parts and make necessary repairs
• Inspect and measure parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements
• Adjust functional parts of machinery using hand tools and precision instruments
• Monitor downtime and communicate preventive maintenance techniques to production teams
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment
• Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies and place orders as needed
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and regulations
• Document maintenance actions, irregularities, and equipment needs for continuity between work teams

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical repair
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, operations manuals, and engineering specifications
• Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication techniques
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
