Dental Sterilization Technician - Wyoming Community Health Center

Working in an integrated team model, the full-time Dental Sterilization Technician will organize and maintain dental instruments in strict accordance with sterilization/disinfection protocols. Schedule is typically Monday - Friday between 8am and 5pm. Travel to other Cherry Health sites may be required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No previous dental work experience required

  Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect and sterilize instruments and treatment areas.
• Dispose contaminated or bio-hazardous waste/materials properly
• Break down and clean operatories after use
• Operate autoclaves, keep records of loads completed.
• Assist patient registration specialist as needed this may include but not limited to: answering phones, checking in and out patients, scheduling appointment, checking insurance.
• Other duties as assigned
