Your crew

We are seeking a Senior IT System Engineer to join our IT Data Center Operations team to manage and maintain our server environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu, RedHat), virtualization platforms (Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V), server patching, configuration, backup processes, Microsoft SCCM, Canon Uniflow, network protocols, and advanced Active Directory and Group Policy management.

This role involves handling sensitive data and systems subject to international regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR, military frameworks). Therefore, experience with secure data management and a structured, compliance-oriented approach is essential.

 

Your Mission

• Implement and maintain our IT server infrastructure
• Management of Server Patching (Microsoft and Linux)
• Management of Backup processes (Commvault)
• Management of enterprise storage
• Manage Active Directory object and Group Policies
• Management of Database permissions and accesses
• Manage Microsoft Intune and SCCM
• Management of the main Datacenters and appliances
• Manage Canon Uniflow follow me printing
• Ensure that all systems are up-to-date and secure
• Troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, and network connectivity
• Support the IT department in Troubleshooting activities
• Assist with planning and implementation of systems and network integrations
• Provide technical guidance to internal support teams.
• Develop technical documents and materials for internal support teams
• Train internal support teams on new technologies
• Provide last escalation technical support to end-users (exceptions)

 

Your Story:

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and datacenter management
• Highly experienced generalist in Microsoft Server and Linux technologies
• Expert level understanding of Active Directory management and group policies
• Expert level with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager and SCCM
• Experience with Canon Uniflow is nice to have.
• Intermediate to advanced level of expertise on PowerShell
• Knowledge of backup solutions as Veeam and / Commvault
• Knowledge of the main hypervisors: VMware/Nutanix/Hyper-V
• Knowledge of the main Storage appliance: NetApp/Dell
• Knowledge of exchange on prem and /or online is an added value
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication skills and teamwork
