General Job Description
The Field Tech Support Engineer (C-Arm and Fluoroscopy Systems) is a role responsible for supporting escalated calls from our Field Service Engineering team.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and escalation management for assigned modality.
- Provide escalation support to the field to include analysis, onsite support, and customer communications.
- Drives compliance, profitability, and customer satisfaction for assigned modality.
- Support and drive the adoption of regional organization strategies.
- Support service, engineering, and the field organization in pricing, costing, and service delivery planning for assigned modality.

Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree in technical field or equivalent military or field experience required.
- Experience: 5 years progressive responsibility and skill growth on assigned systems or equivalent required.
Skills Requirements:
- Advanced system knowledge of OEC C-Arms required,
- Knowledge of additional Fluoroscopy Systems such as O-Arms, R/F rooms, or Cath Labs desired.
- Multiple fluoroscopy System OEM's desired.
- Ability to give phone support, teach and mentor others, and a deep desire to grow and learn themselves.
- Willingness to explore related systems and build skill sets required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident working in cross-functional teams.
- Significant professional technical experience with for assigned modality.
- Willingness to travel up to 35% to provide escalated onsite support required.
- Experience using analytical tools such as Excel to develop reports.
- Solid understanding of service processes and their relations to other key sales and logistics processes and ability to drive the service business based on the supporting processes.
- Solid PC skills (MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to learn about new software and hardware solutions.
- Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot DOS, windows, and Linux operations systems.
- Understanding of medical application software.
- Proficient PACS/DICOM troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient computer hardware troubleshooting skills, including hard drive cloning.
- Willingness to go the distance on difficult troubleshooting over the phone and in person.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including managing difficult customer relationships and guiding all field service engineers.
