As a Patient Access Associate in our Emergency Department, you’re often the first point of contact during some of a patient’s most stressful moments. You bring clarity, compassion, and confidence while handling registrations, verifying information, and supporting patients and families in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
You’ll work closely with ED clinicians and staff to keep care moving efficiently—making a real difference when it matters most.
What You’ll Do:
Greet and assist patients and families in the Emergency Department
Register patients quickly and accurately during emergency visits
Verify demographic and insurance information and scan required documents
Communicate clearly and compassionately in high-pressure situations
Support admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
Collaborate with clinical and support teams to maintain patient flow
What You Bring:
Strong customer service skills and emotional intelligence
Ability to stay calm, focused, and professional under pressure
Attention to detail in a fast-moving environment
Minimum Requirement:
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
