Responsibilities for this Position
General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation’s fundamental defense services. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.
Representative Duties and Tasks:
- Developing and administering recruitment programs.
- Managing the recruitment process while ensuring compliance with laws.
- Reporting on recruitment outcomes and trends.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements.
- Identifying the right sources for advertising and posting positions.
- Promoting our company to candidates and external partners.
- Building a network of qualified candidates and conducting pre-screening and interviews.
- Evaluating candidate evaluation tools and maintaining documentation.
- Negotiating compensation packages and supporting hiring managers.
- Conducting employment background checks and advertising campaigns.
- Collaborating with agencies, contractors, and online representatives.
- Providing feedback on recruitment agencies and supporting various programs.
- Conducting specialized or technical position searches.
- Developing relationships with universities and talent sources.
- Ensuring staffing aligns with our business goals.
- Reporting to management on recruitment efforts.
- Staying updated on EEO and ADA legislation and government compliance.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders and potentially traveling.
